Our products use SNOMED CT as the primary coding system.

This choice is based on the fact that SNOMED CT has a broad technical vocabulary necessary to accurately express any health data, as well as its validation and wide international acceptance as a terminological standard.

TERMINOLOGY KIT

The Terminology Kit is a set of tools that helps users code their data to SNOMED CT and enhance their understanding of it.

It includes 2 functionalities for data coding (Semantic and Adapt), and 2 others to enhance understanding (Translate and Simplify).

The Terminology Kit also provides access to different versions of SNOMED CT, which are automatically updated.

CATEGORIES (TERMINOLOGY BINDINGS)

To improve the coverage and accuracy of search results, we offer categories that can be used in the Terminology Kit. These categories contain specific concepts (e.g., Cardiovascular Diseases, Medications, Breast Diagnoses, etc.). Using categories helps make results more precise by avoiding searches in irrelevant concepts.

Some categories contain concepts authored by WHOA!, modeled by experts in clinical terminology. Authorship allows the availability of concepts that are not yet standardized but are used in practice by the healthcare industry. Thanks to authorship, the coverage of the results provided to users is increased.

MAPPINGS

APIs that convert SNOMED CT codes to other codifications commonly used in different fields. For example: ICD-10, PMO, ICPC-2, National Nomenclature (Argentina), and more.

The base of the pyramid consists of having quality data in a standardized format that allows for easy sharing.

Data-centric applications focus on the management, storage, and retrieval of medical information. While they are useful for organizing records, they do not provide in-depth analysis.
